In the 2025-2026 academic year, following requests from the OADA and OACA, the OSAA is implementing an All-State awards program.
After getting information from leagues/special districts and working closely with OADA and OACA reps, the basis of the All-State awards program was built to try to complement what was already being done at the league/special district level.
The All-State teams for Basketball were voted upon following a league nomination process.
Each league submitted a form that nominated players for All-State consideration. Leagues also submitted nominations for the Player of the Year and Coach of the Year, independent of placement on All-State teams. Following the conclusion of the nomination process, the All-State ballot was made available to all schools in the classification to submit their vote for All-State honors.
