This form is required for all radio and television stations, cable companies, and websites planning to broadcast games in any round of the OSAA playoffs.
This form does not pertain to play-in games or league playoffs.
Only one form is required for each season (fall, winter, spring) and applies toward all sports in a season.
DO NOT complete additional forms for subsequent broadcasts. For your next broadcasts, e-mail {{ Helpers::obfuscateEmailLink ('stevew@osaa.org') }} confirming game, call letters/website, and frequency/channel/URL.
When finished, click Submit. An e-mail will be sent to Steve Walker and to your e-mail address for confirmation.
Authorized broadcasts will be listed at {{ url('/media') }}. Outlets that do not register in advance will not be allowed to broadcast.

Policies & Agreement
All broadcasters must agree to the following broadcast policies and verify the agreement. Scroll to view all of the policies.
OSAA Broadcast Policy
All OSAA events must be referred to as the "OSAA / U.S. Bank / Les Schwab Tires (INSERT EVENT) State Championship(s)."
Advertising for the following products is prohibited during any broadcast of an OSAA State Championship event: tobacco, alcoholic beverages, political parties, political candidates, adult entertainment, casinos, sports books, online gambling, and promotion of any product illegal for people under 18.
Criticism of an official, coach, team, player, or school during the broadcast is prohibited.
The OSAA and its member schools retain the right to refuse broadcasting privileges to any outlet or person.
An OSAA member school in a rights agreement with a local media outlet may refuse broadcast privileges to another media outlet in the same market when hosting an OSAA playoff game. This policy does not pertain to contests at OSAA final sites and football semifinal games unless the member school is hosting the final site or football semifinal and its team is participating.
Audio Broadcast Agreement
Outlets Originating Broadcasts
Outlets originating broadcasts will not pay a rights fee, but agree to air a schedule of spots for OSAA and its sponsors within each broadcast and provide proof of performance affidavits.
* The following schedule of spots must air within each broadcast an outlet originates:
One 30-second OSAA Open Adjacency spot immediately prior to the open of the broadcast and one 30-second OSAA Close Adjacency spot immediately following the close of the broadcast.
Three 30-second U.S. Bank spots (** one each during 1st half, halftime, 2nd half)
Three 30-second Les Schwab Tires spots (** one each during 1st half, halftime, 2nd half)*
Six LIVE Drop-Ins
** If baseball or softball, spread spots throughout the broadcast.
Telephone and Internet
High School Sites - Outlets must make advance arrangements with the host athletic director for a telephone line and Internet access and are responsible for telephone line installation costs if necessary.
Final Sites - The OSAA will provide telephone lines and Internet access and assign broadcast locations at all final sites and semifinal sites for football.
Outlets Carrying Feeds from the OSAA Radio Network (ORN)
Outlets carrying ORN feeds will not pay a rights fee, but agree to air a schedule of spots for OSAA and its sponsors within each broadcast and provide proof of performance affidavits.
All spots are included in the feed and inventory is split between network and local breaks.

Websites linking to ORN or radio stations broadcasts:
Websites may link to an OSAA Radio Network stream provided they identify the link as "Provided by the OSAA Radio Network, sponsored by Pacific Office Automation".
Websites are prohibited from originating a stream of any game streamed by the OSAA Radio Network: football semifinals and finals, basketball quarterfinals through finals and softball and baseball finals.
Affidavit
Outlets must submit proof of performance affidavits for the required schedule of spots for each broadcast.

Email this Affidavit Form or an alternate affidavit format your station uses to {{ Helpers::obfuscateEmailLink ('stevew@osaa.org') }}.
Stations failing to provide affidavits will be prohibited from broadcasting future OSAA playoff games.

DELAY broadcasts may air beginning at 12:01 a.m. the day after the event.
A complete replay may air no more than four times by television stations granted broadcast rights.
DELAY television and internet streaming are not allowed for the following:

Outlets granted rights may not feed broadcasts to additional outlets without permission from the OSAA.
Outlets taking feeds also must pay rights fees.
Outlets will be invoiced at the end of fall, winter, and spring championship seasons.
